Additional vendors associated with this Contest, if any, shall be deemed a Supporter for purposes of these Official Rules.<\/p>\n\n        <h3>ELIGIBILITY<\/h3><p>The Contest is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry and at all times during the Contest (individually, an \u201cEntrant,\u201d and collectively, \u201cEntrants\u201d) are:<\/p>\n        <ul class=\"agreement-List alphabet indent\">\n          <li>a. legal residents (including permanent residents) of either:<br>\n              (i) the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years of age (nineteen (19) years of age in Alabama and Nebraska, twenty-one (21) years of age in Mississippi);<br>\n              (ii) Japan who are at least eighteen (18) years of age;<br>\n              (iii) Canada (excluding Quebec) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age;<br>\n              (iv) Australia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age;<br>\n              (v) New Zealand who are at least eighteen (18) years of age;<br>\n              (vi) the United Kingdom who are at least eighteen (18) years of age; and\n          <\/li>\n          <li>b. eligible to work in their jurisdiction of legal residence; and<\/li>\n          <li>c. do not have a criminal record or act (or have previously acted) in a manner that may or will bring him or her into public disrepute, scandal or ridicule, or shocks or offends a portion or group of the public, or derogates from his or her public image, or bring the Sponsor into disrepute, in Sponsor\u2019s sole judgment.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p>Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsors or their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment, and marketing agencies, website providers, web masters, (collectively, the \u201cContest Entities\u201d) and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and children, regardless of where they live) and those living in the same household are not eligible to enter or win. Sponsors reserve the right to verify the eligibility of winners. Participation constitutes Entrant\u2019s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to Sponsors\u2019 decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.<\/p>\n\n        <h3>TO ENTER<\/h3><p>We want you to help us create the next great Pok\u00e9mon trading card by creating your own unique illustration featuring one of the ten pre-selected Pok\u00e9mon (the \u201cPok\u00e9mon Contest Content\u201d) detailed on the official website, here: [<a href=\"https:\/\/test.ptcgic-cr.com\/en\/application\/\">https:\/\/www.ptcgic-cr.com\/2024\/en\/application\/<\/a>].<\/p>\n\n        <p>During the Contest Period, eligible Entrants can enter by visiting [https:\/\/www.ptcgic-cr.com\/2024\/en\/] (the \u201cContest Website\u201d) and (1) completing the required online entry form (\u201cEntry Form\u201d), then (2) uploading your original Pok\u00e9mon trading card illustration (\u201cSubmission\u201d or \u201cEntry\u201d) as described below.<\/p>\n\n        <p>You will be asked to provide the following information on the Entry Form: (i) your complete name, (ii) your valid email address, (iii) your telephone number, (iv) your location\/address, (v) an alias (if available), (vi) the software utilized to create your illustration, and (vii) the name of the pre-selected Pok\u00e9mon your original Submission features. Entrant must provide all required information on the Entry Form. Entrant may be asked to answer optional questions and\/or register for future notices of online promotions; however, you do not need to answer these questions or agree to receive future emails in order to be eligible for entry in the Contest.<\/p>\n\n        <p>There is a limit three (3) unique Submissions per person. You may be disqualified if you submit more than three (3) Submissions.<\/p>\n\n        <p>For purposes of determining country-specific prize winners (see Rule 5 below), your country will be determined by the address you supply as part of your Entry. You may only enter for one country. Canadian residents will be required to answer a skill-testing question prior to the awarding of any prize.<\/p>\n\n        <p>For your Submission, you should illustrate one of the pre-selected Pok\u00e9mon characters (the \u201cPok\u00e9mon Contest Content\u201d) provided at [<a href=\"https:\/\/test.ptcgic-cr.com\/en\/theme\/\">https:\/\/www.ptcgic-cr.com\/2024\/en\/theme\/<\/a>]. Your Entry should be an illustration that captures the Pok\u00e9mon enjoying a moment in its day, or an illustration that shows the Pok\u00e9mon looking cool or dynamic, with the theme \u201cPok\u00e9mon magical moments\u201d. For details on the Submission requirements, please see below and refer to the materials posted on the official application requirements page at [<a href=\"https:\/\/test.ptcgic-cr.com\/en\/application\/\">https:\/\/www.ptcgic-cr.com\/2024\/en\/application\/<\/a>]which form part of these Official Rules.<\/p>\n\n        <p><strong>Additional Participation and Submission Requirements.<\/strong> Submission must:<\/p>\n        <p>For \u201cstandard card illustration\u201d<\/p>\n        <ul class=\"agreement-List dotlist\">\n          <li>Be 1106 pixels (width) x 696 pixels (height).<\/li>\n          <li>Be in digital form (either .jpg or .png) (RGB).<\/li>\n          <li>Be no larger than 3 megabytes (\u201cMB\u201d).<\/li>\n          <li>Not use alphanumeric text or text expressions in the background.<\/li>\n          <li>Be of satisfactory quality to use and print as a TCG card illustration (e.g., brightness, focus, etc.)  Any Submission submitted that is not of satisfactory quality may be rejected, at Sponsors\u2019 reasonable discretion.<\/li>\n          <li>Consist of appropriate content for all ages and fans of and conform to the Pok\u00e9mon brand.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n\n        <p>For \u201c<span class=\"st-Ex\">ex<\/span> card illustration\u201d<\/p>\n        <ul class=\"agreement-List dotlist\">\n          <li>Be 1413 pixels (width) x 1924 pixels (height).<\/li>\n          <li>Be in digital form (either .jpg or .png) (RGB).<\/li>\n          <li>Be no larger than 3 megabytes (\u201cMB\u201d).<\/li>\n          <li>Not use alphanumeric text or text expressions in the background.<\/li>\n          <li>Be of satisfactory quality to use and print as a TCG card illustration (e.g., brightness, focus, etc.)  Any Submission submitted that is not of satisfactory quality may be rejected, at Sponsors\u2019 reasonable discretion.<\/li>\n          <li>Consist of appropriate content for all ages and fans of and conform to the Pok\u00e9mon brand.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n\n        <p>You may use the provided card frames for reference (downloadable via official contest website). Please follow guidelines listed on requirements page [<a href=\"https:\/\/test.ptcgic-cr.com\/en\/application\/\">https:\/\/www.ptcgic-cr.com\/2024\/en\/application\/<\/a>], which form part of these Official Rules.<\/p>\n\n        <p><strong>Recommended Browsers for Submissions (latest versions):<\/strong><\/p>\n        <p><strong>Windows 8\/Windows 10:<\/strong> Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox<br>\n          <strong>macOS:<\/strong> Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox<br>\n          <strong>Android 9 or later:<\/strong> Google Chrome<br>\n          <strong>iPhone (iOS 13.0 or higher):<\/strong> Safari, Google Chrome<\/p>\n        <p>ALL Submissions:<\/p>\n\n        <ul class=\"agreement-List alphabet indent\">\n          <li>a. MUST NOT include material which is (or promote activities which are) in Sponsors\u2019 sole reasonable discretion, hateful, slanderous, libelous, tortious, sexually explicit, obscene, pornographic, inappropriate, violent, self-mutilating (e.g., relating to murder, the sales of weapons, cruelty, abuse, etc.), discriminatory (including but not limited to based on race, sex, religion, natural origin, physical disability, sexual orientation or age), illegal (e.g., underage drinking, substance abuse, computer hacking, etc.), offensive, threatening, profane, or harassing; or contain material that is threatening to any person, place, business, group or world peace; or contain words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or socioeconomic group; or contain images, words or text portraying nudity, acts of violence, or acts that are or appear to be unlawful or dangerous or in violation of, or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state where the Submission is created in their application.<\/li>\n          <li>b. MUST NOT contain material that violates or infringes another\u2019s rights, including but not limited to material that violates privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement.\n            <ul class=\"agreement-List indent\">\n              <li>i.\tWithout limiting the foregoing, Submissions MUST NOT include third-party trademarks, logos, insignia, location signage, photographs, artwork, or sculptures, except those of the Sponsors.<\/li>\n              <li>ii.\tMUST NOT include any reference to or performance of any copyrighted media production including but not limited to books, articles, photographs, artwork, music, etc., or identifying descriptions of any media property.<\/li>\n              <li>iii. If a Submission contains materials belonging to a third party that has provided Entrant with permission to use such materials in the Submission, Entrant must provide written copies of such permission on request by the Sponsors and ensure that the permission allows Sponsors to use the materials in full for any purpose as stated in section 8 below.<\/li>\n            <\/ul>\n          <\/li>\n          <li>c. MUST NOT include third parties, including but not limited to minors, celebrities and friends, who have not expressly authorized Entrant to display their image or likeness in any submitted application or otherwise use such images or likenesses in accordance with these Official Rules. Entrant must be prepared to provide signed third-party authorizations upon request.<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p>By entering, each Entrant warrants and (unless you are resident in the UK) represents that their Submission is original, has not been previously published, submitted or won any award, has been created by them alone, does not contain any material that would defame or otherwise violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including patents, copyrights, trademarks or rights of privacy or publicity, complies with these Official Rules and the requirements above, and will not violate any applicable laws, regulations or other legal rules including but not limited to federal, state or local laws or ordinances, and that they will not engage in any act that interferes or may interfere with the proper operation of the Contest and will not encourage any antisocial forces or their activities.  Entrants further warrant and (unless you are resident in the UK) represent that they have secured the requisite consent from any third party referenced in their Submissions. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole reasonable discretion, to disqualify any entry that they believe contains obscene, offensive or inappropriate content, that does not comply with these Official Rules or that is not consistent with the spirit or theme of the Contest. Entrants shall not engage in any conduct that may cause inconvenience, disadvantage, or damage to the Sponsors or any third party. In the event any Entrant violates any of the preceding provisions, the Sponsors may cancel any Submission or any prize, and in the event any Entrant becomes disqualified due to a violation of these Official Rules, at the Entrant\u2019s expense, the Entrant shall return to Sponsors all prizes and prize money won by the Entrant within 30 days of receipt of notice of disqualification.<\/p>\n\n        <p><strong>SOLELY IN CONNECTION WITH THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST AND LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE CONTEST PERIOD, ENTRANTS ARE GRANTED A LIMITED, NON-EXCLUSIVE LICENSE TO ADAPT, DISPLAY, REPRODUCE, AND INCORPORATE THE POK\u00c9MON CONTEST CONTENT INTO THEIR SUBMISSIONS. ENTRANTS SHALL ONLY USE POK\u00c9MON CONTEST CONTENT FOR PURPOSES OF ENTERING THIS CONTEST. ENTRANTS HAVE NO OTHER RIGHTS TO USE THE POK\u00c9MON CONTEST CONTENT AND ALL RIGHTS ARISING FROM AND TO THE POK\u00c9MON CONTEST CONTENT SHALL REMAIN WITH THE POK\u00c9MON COMPANY INTERNATIONAL, THE POK\u00c9MON COMPANY, CREATURES INC., NINTENDO CO., LTD., GAME FREAK CO., LTD.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n        <p>Submissions must be submitted by the Entrant. Any attempt, successful or otherwise, by any Entrant to obtain more than the permitted number of Submissions by using multiple and\/or different identities, forms, registrations, addresses or any other method will void all of that Entrant\u2019s Submissions and that Entrant may be disqualified at Sponsors\u2019 reasonable discretion. Multiple Entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Each Entrant is responsible for any and all costs associated with entering this contest including but not limited to, normal Internet, phone and usage charges that may be imposed by your online or phone service. Incomplete, illegible, corrupted, or untimely Submissions are void and will be disqualified. Sponsors and their agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, misdirected, or illegible Submissions; lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections; or miscommunications, computer or software malfunctions, telephone transmission problems, technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user\u2019s computer equipment (software or hardware), or other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsors. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the Entrant or participant. The \u201cauthorized account holder\u201d is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, Internet service provider, or other organization (which may include an employer) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Submissions specifying an invalid, non-working, or inactive email address will be disqualified and ineligible to win.<\/p>\n\n        <h3>JUDGING\/SELECTION OF WINNER<\/h3><p>All Submissions will be reviewed by Sponsors\u2019 editorial panel to make certain the content meets the Submission Requirements. All Submissions that meet the requirements will be reviewed by a panel of no less than four (4) judges that will include selected directors and executives from TPCi, TPC, and Creatures Inc. and an independent judge (the \u201cJudging Panel\u201d), which may include:<\/p>\n\n        <p class=\"text_underline\">TPCi<\/p>\n        <ul class=\"agreement-List dotlist\">\n          <li>Kenji Okubo (President)<\/li>\n          <li>Yasuhiro Usui (Senior. The names and Submissions of the Quarter-Finalists will be published on the Contest Website (<a href=\"https:\/\/test.ptcgic-cr.com\/en\/\">https:\/\/www.ptcgic-cr.com\/2024\/en\/<\/a>) on or about June 2024. These Quarter-Finalists, once confirmed, will move on to Round Two.<\/p>\n\n        <p class=\"text_underline text_center\"><strong>ROUND TWO: TOP 100<\/strong><\/p>\n        <p>In Round Two, the Judging Panel will review all Quarter-Finalist Submissions and select the top one hundred (100) semi-finalists (\u201cSemi-Finalists\u201d) from the winners of Round One. Entrants will be judged based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n        <ul class=\"agreement-List indent\">\n          <li>(i)\tinterpretation and clarity of theme (40%);<\/li>\n          <li>(ii) creativity and originality of the depicted theme (30%); and<\/li>\n          <li>(iii) overall design (30%) (collectively, the \u201cSecond-Round Judging Criteria\u201d).<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n\n        <p>After the previous round, Sponsors will review all Submissions within one month to go through to the next round. The names and Submissions of the Semi-Finalists will be published on the Contest Website (<a href=\"https:\/\/test.ptcgic-cr.com\/en\/\">https:\/\/www.ptcgic-cr.com\/2024\/en\/<\/a>) on or about July 2024. These Semi-Finalists, once confirmed, will move on to the Final Round.<\/p>\n\n        <p class=\"text_underline text_center\"><strong>ROUND THREE: FINALS<\/strong><\/p>\n        <p>After the previous round, Sponsors will review all Submissions within one month after the completion of this round. Thereafter, one (1) Grand Prize Winner; one (1) Best standard card illustration Winner , one (1) Best ex card illustration Winner; six (6) First Place Runner Ups; and fifteen (15) Judge\u2019s Award Winners will be selected from the one hundred (100) Semi-Finalists on or about Sep 2024. Entrants will be judged based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n        <ul class=\"agreement-List indent\">\n          <li>(i)\tinterpretation and clarity of theme (40%);<\/li>\n          <li>(ii) creativity and originality of the depicted theme (30%); and<\/li>\n          <li>(iii) overall design (30%) (collectively, the \u201cFinal Judging Criteria\u201d).<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p>The potential winners will be announced via email as well as being posted on our winners section of the Contest Website.<\/p>\n\n        <p>In the event of a tie, the tied Submissions will be rejudged on the criteria of correct depiction of the specific Pok\u00e9mon, based on faithfulness to the specified character (50%); and the quality and comprehensiveness as a Pok\u00e9mon trading card illustration (50%). The Submission receiving the highest score being selected as the Quarter-Finalist, Semi-Finalist, or Prize Winner, as applicable.<\/p>\n\n        <p>Winning a prize is contingent on the winner fulfilling all of the requirements set out below.<\/p>\n\n        <ul class=\"agreement-List alphabet indent\">\n          <li>a. If after the first attempt to contact them or if they fail to sign and return the Affidavit and Other Documents within 72 hours or in the event that a potential semi-finalist\/finalist\/winner is disqualified for any reason, the potential semi-finalist\/finalist\/winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize, and the semi-finalist\/finalist\/winner with the next highest score will be selected as an alternate potential winner. Creation of Promo Cards based upon a winner&#8217;s illustration is at the Sponsor&#8217;s discretion and the Sponsor may choose not to create any Promo Card<\/p>\n\n        <p><strong>TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES OFFERED IS APPROXIMATELY $24,500 USD (excluding the award ceremony set out below).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n        <p><strong>Award Ceremony:<\/strong> The Grand Prize Winner, the Best Standard Card Winner and the Best ex Card Winner will also receive the following (for one person): return airfares to Tokyo (for winners based in Japan, train fare), hotel accommodations for two nights, transportation to and from the airport to the hotel and to the ceremony, and meals for two days. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply (please see \u201cTravel requirements\u201d below for further information). All travel, accommodation and meal providers will be selected by Sponsor at its sole reasonable discretion. Any friends or family who accompany the Grand Prize Winner, the Best Standard Card Winner, or the Best ex Card Winner during their travels do so at their own expense.<\/p>\n\n        <p><strong>PRIZE REQUIREMENTS\/RESTRICTIONS:<\/strong> For any winner whose illustration is eligible and selected by Sponsors to be made into a promo card, such winner may be requested to re-submit data file for optimal print quality. Limit one (1) prize per person and per household. Any and all applicable taxes and all fees and expenses related to acceptance and use of prize (including but not limited to federal, state, and local) not specifically stated herein are the responsibility solely of winner. Prizes for Winners\/Runner Ups in Japan may be subject to withholding income tax and special income tax for reconstruction. Prize is as stated and there is no cash or other alternative in the prize in whole or in part.  Prize cannot be substituted, assigned, exchanged or transferred; however, Sponsors reserve the right to make equivalent prize substitutions at their reasonable discretion in the event any advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Sponsors will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Only the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules is available to be won in the Contest. If, by reason of a print or other error, more prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these Official Rules, an alternate winner will be selected in accordance with the winner selection method described above from among all eligible claimants making purportedly valid claims to award the number of prizes defined in these Official Rules.<\/p>\n\n        <p><strong>Travel Requirements:<\/strong> If a Winner is eligible to attend the award ceremony, Sponsors will, in its sole reasonable discretion, determine which airport is closest to the Winner\u2019s home. If Winner resides within a 600 mile- radius of Tokyo, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute round trip ground transportation to\/from Winner\u2019s residence in lieu of air transportation. Travel subject to availability and blackout dates. Winner is responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents (including but not limited to a valid passport and, if required, visas). Travel arrangements must be made through Sponsor\u2019s agent and on an airline carrier of Sponsor\u2019s choice. If required, Winner must be available to travel on dates specified by Sponsor or risk forfeiting the Award Ceremony component of their prize. Certain travel restrictions may apply and will be notified to winners as soon as reasonably practicable. Winner is also responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledges that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight except at the sole reasonable discretion of Sponsor. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Contest, and those set forth by Sponsor\u2019s airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. The passenger contracts in use by the airlines or other transportation companies shall constitute the sole contracts with respect to the Winner\u2019s transportation and such contracts shall be solely between the Winner and such transportation companies. Lost, stolen or damaged airline tickets will not be replaced or exchanged. No stopovers (excluding necessary stopovers such as stopovers required in transit to Tokyo) are permitted on tickets issued as part of the prize. If such a stopover occurs, the prize travel will terminate and Winner will be responsible for the full fare which will be charged from the stopover point for the remaining trip segment(s), including the return. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by any air carrier(s) or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. Airline tickets issued in connection with the prize may not be eligible for frequent flyer miles or upgrades. Winner must comply with all hotel check-in requirements, including, but not limited to, the presentation of a payment card.<\/p>\n\n        <h3>GENERAL CONDITIONS<\/h3><p>Void where prohibited by law and outside of the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, UK and Japan. Sponsors reserve the right in their sole reasonable discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the entry process, the website, and\/or the legitimate operation of the Contest; to violate the Official Rules; or to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person.<\/p>\n\n        <p>To the extent permitted under applicable law, Sponsors and their agents are not responsible for (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of Submissions; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Entrant\u2019s participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. In the event Winner engages in behavior during travel that (as determined by Sponsor in its sole reasonable discretion) is illegal, tortious, or subjects Winner to arrest or detention, Sponsor shall have no obligation to pay any damages, fees, fines, judgments or other costs or expenses of any kind whatsoever incurred by Winner as a result of such conduct. Entrant waives and agrees to not assert any moral rights they may have to the Submissions, and agrees that if Sponsors elect to use Submissions for any purpose, all rights under copyright or other intellectual property rights which may result from that relating to Entrant\u2019s submissions or from use of the same by Sponsors shall be the sole property of Sponsors. Entrant further agrees that if Sponsors elect to use Entrant\u2019s Submissions, Entrant will sign any documents reasonably required by Sponsors regarding this assignment.<\/p>\n\n        <p>Each Entrant understands and acknowledges that Sponsors have wide access to ideas, designs, and other materials, and that new ideas are constantly being submitted to it or being developed by their own employees. Each Entrant also acknowledges that many ideas may be competitive with, similar or identical to the Submission and\/or each other in theme, idea, format or other respects.<\/p>\n\n        <p>Each Entrant acknowledges and agrees that such Entrant will not be entitled to any compensation as a result of Sponsors\u2019 use of any such similar or identical material.
